It is only 1km away from the hotel to the National Stadium (Birds Nest), 22km to the Capital Airport, 13km to Beijing Railway Station, 22km to Beijing West Railway Station,10km to the Tiananmen Square, and 200 meters to the Huixinxijiebeikou Station of Subway Line 5. Beijing Tibet Hotel became the member of the International Gold Key Organization in 2003, and was awarded the Golden Prize of the Gold Key Service by the Organization in China area. The hotel has been for four times ed with the honorable title of Advanced Group of the Capital Tourism Circles by Beijing Tourism Bureau. The hotel also had honor to win the title of Green Traveling Hotel, known as Gold-leaf Grade, conferred by the National Review Board of Star Grade Hotels. The hotel is one of the hotels which have been officially appointed to receive guests for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. .
